Dr. Ciesielski, MD, PhD is a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and in environmental psychiatry care. He is a certified psychotherapist and supervisor in the Scientific Psychotherapy Section of the Polish Association of Psychiatry, an Ericksonian hypnotherapist (Zist, Germany), an Open Dialogue Approach psychotherapist (Institut für Sozialpsychiatrie Mecklenburg, Germany) and a certified psychotherapist and trainer of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (WAPP, Wiesbaden, Germany). Dr. Ciesielski is the chairman of the Polish Association for Psychotherapy Development, a member of the Board of Directors for Transcultural and Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP, Wiesbaden), and the editor of Transcultural Positive Psychotherapy. He was employed in the Department of Psychiatry of the Medical University in Poznan (1994-2006) and later was head of the Day Care Center for Children with Psychiatric and Speech Disorders in Wroclaw (2010 –2015). He has headed the Wroclaw Institute for Psychotherapy since 2010.
